My name is Léo Hébert and I am running for Council in the Township of Powassan - Ontario.  This information production on the Control of Municipal Politics through Global Entities is very suggestive and informative.

Knowing what I do now, I am prepared to answer some questions and make some commitments.  

Answering the questions in order as they appeared, I will introduce a motion to remove the United Nations sustainable development goals as a municipal policy planning management and reporting framework that requires Municipal policies to be established and justified locally rather than by their alignmebt with the SDGs.

I will also direct administration to identify and publicly disclose every Municipal strategic plan policy program KPI partnership and reporting requirement currently aligned with the agenda 2030 or SDGs and I will bring those findings back before Council in public. IE what commitments were made? What does membership cost? What KPIs are being measured? What data are we reporting? And who authorized our participation? All valid questions. 

Much needed grants will need to be questioned as to what are the reporting requirements, KPIs, data sharing requirements, procurement conditions, policy commitments and any requirement to align Municipal plans or programs with an outside framework. 

I will personally require a complete public inventory of the municipalities smart and connected infrastructure including RFIDs, smart meters, cameras, sensors, license plate readers, fiber Network connected street lights, Municipal databases and artificial intelligence systems. 

I will introduce some motion requiring meaningful human review before artificial intelligence or an automated system can make or materially influence a municipal decision affecting a person's rights property permit license benefits penalties or enforcement and if an automated system gets it wrong that a human being is accountable. And who that person is.

I will introduce a motion guaranteeing that people can continue to access Municipal services facilities and programs using cash and meaningful non-digital alternatives without being penalized for refusing to use digital systems.

And if elected I do promise to put local goals before global ones. I swear by taking an oath of allegiance to the position and the people rather than a declaration of office to serve the king and the municipal town city corporation.
