Hello. I will give a rather quick response from my phone so parden a few typos. 

Carling is a small township. 

I am pretty sure we have.

 1. No goals or plan priorities that align with or mention anything to do with United Nations goals. Our council plan was made by the community and council. We have no outside reporting to any group. 

2. Plan 2030 or SDG. Never heard of this. Before reading your material. Not sure who implied that it might be part of our plan, but its not.

3. Reporting. We are pretty much an open book but we do no outside reporting that I am aware of other than our FIR financial report to the Ontario Government.

4. Outside grants. Yes I would be public with any reporting. But we have never had a grant that was not from the province or the Feds and they come with minimal reporting beyond the project costs

5. We have no Smart or connected infrastructure or networks. We have some facility security cameras but they are not connected to any outside agent. No AI or licence plate readers.

But if we did install more cameras at the dump as an example. They would not be outside connected.

6. We already have an AI policy and it is never to be used with the public or as a decision tool. And personal information is never included.

7. We still take cash at most of our facilities. And will continue too.

8. Not sure about Oaths. Certainly not the King. Not sure where that comes from.  My oath is to the people of Carling.

Comment. We are not influenced by these outside forces, perhaps we are to small. But we are responsible to the people, of Carling not any outside groups.

I assure you that what ever 2030 is, it has not found its way to Carling and we would reject any outside influences.

Our major issues are rising costs and continued affordability, and provincial downloading.
