Muskoka Canadians for Truth
2024-12-04 Update

Wow, December already and she decided to come in with a bang.  At least we’re likely looking at a white Christmas this year.  Coming up on one of my favourite days of the year – December 21st, when every day after that gets a little more sunshine.

Sorry a tad late with this, been a very busy few days.

Fundraiser for Dr. Sonja Kustka

We understand this was very successful and Dr. Sonja very grateful.  Thanks to all who helped support her in her battle with the evil CPSO.

Bill C-293 and the Bird Flu

Thanks to the many thousands who volunteered to knock on doors and raise awareness of Bill C-293 and its likely partner, the fake, phony and false Bird Flu.  Kidding about the many thousands – we’re hoping for a little more traction there and will likely resort to conscription for that (hey, it works for nation-states).

He’s Out of Touch

Ya think so?  Watch this video from Kris Sims from the Canadian Taxpayers Federation about Untrudeau’s recent on-stage interview in Brazil where The Prince says “Sorry, Climate Change is more important than your rent or feeding your kids”.  Fair warning, it has him speaking and if you’re like me, that sound is right up there with fingernails on a chalk board.

From the “Evidence Ontario has gone Crazy and What to Do About it” Department

The heads of this department asked for T-shirts but the name is too long.

Thanks to a Burks Falls subscriber for drawing our attention to this madness in the small municipality of Emo, Ontario.  The Ontario Human Rights Tribunal fined the town $10,000 and the mayor $5,000 in addition to two members being forced to take Human Rights training – all for refusing to raise the Pride flag and declare June Pride Month.  See it on Winnipeg CTV here.  Even the MSM reporters seem to think it’s nutty.

Don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t pay.

But she also drew our attention to the Alberta town of Barrhead’s Neutrality Bylaw that ensures town properties will be free from political, religious, social, or commercial messaging.

That’s a deputation that would be worth making.

She also told us that while there is no official news on the Township of McMurrich/Monteith's Property Standards Bylaw we talked about a couple months ago, the word on the street is that it has been shelved, perhaps in favour of a slightly less egregious but perhaps still overreaching Clean Yards Bylaw.

Thanks Angela.

Tish Conlin THRIVE Sessions

Reminder Tish’s free sessions start this Thursday at 8 pm on Zoom.  If you’d like to participate, contact Tish at Tish@tishconlin.com.

Parallels in Calgary

While we try to promote things of Muskokan origin and interest, this substack link from David Ward about deputations in Calgary is notable for its parallel to deputations we have done in Huntsville.  Clearly, we inspired them (well, Shelagh McFarlane and Maggie Hope Braun did).

And speaking of Shelagh, we picked up a note that a new POGG revision (see her stuff here) and some templates are coming, probably early January.

Radio Communications

We’re picking up the Muskokan radios today!  We’ll let you know the distribution plan very soon.  We’ll definitely take them to the social next week so let us know if you’ll be there to pick up.

That’s all for now, see you at the Social on December 11th, 7 pm at Canvas in Huntsville!
