Well it’s the eve of the US election and one good thing for sure – no apocalypse. Many thought (ok, maybe me too) there would be a big event to derail the election and even, perhaps the Canadian one but nothing yet. Tomorrow and the days that follow may be some of the most interesting in a long time.
I did see a funny meme from Robert Malone: Las Vegas odds give Trump the win 59% to 41%. There’s a problem however, Dominion makes the Vegas odds machine.
We should have organized an election pool …
Accountability in Alberta?
Came across this, it’s interesting though I didn’t get much past Dr. Makis’ slaying of the Alberta Health Service (AHS). It’s amazing, part of the “Arrival of Accountability Red Deer” – you can see all 3 ½ hours here.
Meanwhile, back in Alberta, Danielle Smith’s UCP party just announced something like 35 policies that actually make sense. But will she fix AHS? Seems as unlikely as the Coutts guys getting a fair trial, but it’s hopeful. Even the Libertarians like it. But then, the Albertans are bringing in Bill 24 which amends the Alberta Bill of Rights (just how many Bills of Rights do we need anyway?) and apparently not for the better.
Accountability in the Federal Government?
I’m just kidding, c’mon. But the latest issue is with Untrudeau’s Gun Buyback Program. $67 million bucks, 60 people hired, zero guns bought back. It’s the $67 million dollar question and there’s a petition of course, you can see it here.
Bill C-293
Nate Erskine-Smith, the Liberal MP who brought in this bill has been back-pedaling hard lately with a shmarmy video of his own calling anyone who opposes it extreme right-wingers. He laughs off the criticism.
I sent him this video by Rebecca Sheppard of Stand4THEE and asked him how he sleeps at night.
He’s all about pandemic preparedness he says. If you look up historic pandemics, there’s been about ten in the entire human history and most were not particularly harmful and all were eradicated through better hygiene and clean water. The only reason we would need pandemic preparedness from the government is because they’re planning a new one.
